Who took part?

Participants in the World Wide Views event came from all over Australia, with no specific knowledge or particular view on climate change. The recruitment was done by contacting hudreds of people at random, and the final group of one hundred represents a mix of characteristics like age, gender, ethnicity, educational background, household type, income levels. This is a real strength of the “citizens’ dialogue” process. The participants broadly mirror the same mix of characteristics present in the Australian population - they came from all the places shown on the map.
